THE 2010 SEASON Our 42nd Year ________________________________________ The Producers - Jan. 28-Feb. 28 In this musical adapted from the Mel Brooks film, two theatrical producers scheme to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. Hilarious complications arise when the show unexpectedly turns out to be successful. To Kill A Mockingbird - April 8-May 2 Based on Harper Lee's powerful Pulitzer Prize-winning 1961 novel, the story is about love for family, dignity, tolerance, and the difficulties of growing up in a rural community in Alabama during the Depression. Annie July 8 - August 1 Based on the comic strip "Little Orphan Annie", this famous musical follows a 10-year-old orphan girl (and her dog, Sandy) as she attempts to find her parents in order to escape the horrible matron of her orphanage. The Complete History of America (Abridged) Sept.9-October 3 Covering 600 years of our nation's history in under two hours, this irreverent send-up takes audiences on a roller coaster ride through the glorious quagmire that is American history. History has never been this much fun. Or as delightfully, ridiculously mutilated! Harry Potwurst - October 29-November 7 Harry Potwurst battles Opa Voltawurst along with his young friends Hernia and Won Reasley and Hargart in this hilarious Wursfest melodrama complete with audience participation, booing & cheering, and the traditional throwing of the popcorn!
