    About the Directors

    ELIZABETH ELLIOTT (1968 - 2008) ...was our Executive Artistic Director and founder of Circle Arts Theater, the first on-going theatre of New Braunfels ...twenty-six major roles to her credit, her favorites being Bloody Mary in South Pacific, Widow Corney in Oliver!, Berthe in Pippin, Bubble in Crossing Delancy, and Grandma Kurnitz in Lost in Yonkers ...has written many of the Wurstfest melodramas and several musical reviews, between directing 91 major productions to date: Pieces of the Sky, Driving Miss Daisy, and the award-winning Seascape ...recipient of the First Lifetime Achievement Award from the Greater New Braunfels Arts Council ...in 1990 named by the San Antonio Express News as the "Outstanding Woman of the Year in the Arts.  Elizabeth took her final bow on life's stage on November 8, 2008.


    ROBERTA ELLIOTT ...our Executive Director has degrees in Theatre and Comparative Religion from Trinity University ...supervisor of Circle Arts' K.I.D.s - Klasses in Drama (formerly known as the Fantasy Factory), our children's school of drama, and director of The Inner Circle, our touring youth company ...major roles in Godspell, Window Are Only Soid Air, The Rainmaker, and And a Nightingale Sang ...her brilliant portrayal of Annie Sullivan won standing ovations in both our Miracle Worker productions ...has directed many shows for Circle Arts Theatre, her favorites being Equus, Baby, A...My Name is Alice, Noises Off, the spectacular achievement, Into the Woods, the record-breaking Nunsense, Little Shop of Horrors, and Once On This Island ...has served for years as the technical director for the New Braunfels Arts Council's annual Dinner With the Arts.
     

    ROBIN WILLIAMS ... our Artistic/Technical Director graduated from Texas University with degrees in Theatre and Education … has choreographed several major productions for the theatre including Big River, Guys and Dolls, Oliver, and Godspell … directed Dinner With the Arts for the Arts Council … was a valuable member of the Inner Circle, the theatre's touring youth company for three years … has also taught summer theatre classes for youth in Austin ... major roles in Smoke on the Mountain and Sanders Family Christmas as the hand signing June ... was the fabulous Cat in the Hat in Seussical, the Musical, and the crazy Rita La Porta in Lucky Stiff ... her directing credits have just begun with Prisoner of Second Avenue and The Cemetery Club.
